STORE POLICY


Ordering Online:

As you find the items you want on the Aiptek website, simply enter the item quantity and click on "Add to Cart" button. To view your cart, click the top "View Cart" icon. From the Shopping Cart, you can edit the item quantity, return to store or checkout.  If you want to log out of the shopping cart, click "Log Out" button in the left hand corner of the top frame at anytime.

When you are ready to place your order, click the top
"Checkout" icon. If you're a new customer, you can create a new Account or place the order without an Account. If you're a returning Customer and have already created a Username and Password, please Log-in and Continue Checkout. We'll walk you through the steps needed to complete your order.

You will also receive order confirmation, an automatic email message that serves as a double confirmation of your successfully placed order. Included in that email will be your order number.

You can also track your package. To check your shipping status and get your tracking number, visit
ORDER STATUS and enter your email address and order number.
 




Shipping Limits:

We only ship within the Continental U.S. (including Hawaii and Alaska). All orders (paid by credit card) placed before 8:00 A.M. PST, provided that the product is in stock, will be shipped the same day upon that order's confirmation (Monday - Friday). If you use Check as payment, the order will be on "hold" until we receive your cashier's check or money order.  We will email you the check receiving notification.  For all online orders, the price of freight will be based upon product weight. Shipping options include UPS Next Day Air, UPS 2nd Day Air, and UPS Ground. Mail orders will be shipped by UPS Ground ONLY.  Unfortunately, due to liability and insurance constraints we are barred from shipping to P.O. Boxes.  For your protection, we require a signature at time of delivery for orders over $100.00.  Aiptek reserves the right to ask for more information.
 




Credit Card Payment:

We only accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express through our Shopping-cart SSL secure-server. We only take orders over the internet. Please have Billing address match the bank Credit Card information. To pass credit card verification, key in your credit card code (CVV2) correctly.  Credit Card will not be charged until (after) your package has been shipped out.

Credit Card fraud will not be tolerated. Fraudulent credit card orders will be prosecuted. We are watchful of FRAUD card orders and will prosecute 100%. All IP addresses are logged.

It's important that you type in your correct email address so you receive the order confirmation, and tracking numbers.

Applicable sales tax will be charged on all items purchased and shipped within the state of California.

Credit Card Payment option only applies for orders under $2000.00.  Bulk buyers with orders totaling more than $2000.00, please contact a Sale's Representative at (949) 585-9600 ext. 202 or email regsales@aiptek.com for more information.
 


PayPal Payment:

To eliminate risk, PayPal has imposed these guidelines for all sellers.  If you do not agree with them, please issue your complaints to PayPal since we believe they are very simple and basic rules.  Since we will abide by these rules set forth by PayPal, they guarantee that Aiptek is always protected against charge backs due to fraud.

Aiptek is required under PayPal's Buyer Protection Program to retain reasonable proof-of-shipping.  To comply, Aiptek ships everything via UPS with delivery confirmation.  Aiptek takes no responsibility for lost parcels, wrong deliveries or product damage caused by UPS.

To verify your PayPal account, simply register and confirm a bank account.  Just log in to http://www.PayPal.com, and look for the "Add Bank Account" link in the How to Activate Your Account box.  You will be able to confirm your bank account by completing a simple online process.  The instructions are on the website.  Why does PayPal ask users to confirm ownership of a bank account?  Because banks and other financial institutions are required by law to screen account holders.  By proving ownership of a bank account, you demonstrate that you have passed this screening process and have verified your identity.  In turn, this lowers PayPal's financial risk and allows PayPal to guarantee you.

Cashier's Check/Money Order Payment:

Aiptek now accepts cashier's checks or money orders.  There are two ways to order Aiptek products this way.  Unfortunately we do not accept personal checks of any type.

Online Checkout:

Shop at Aiptek website as normal. See Ordering Online  At Checkout page, select "Check" as your payment option.  Follow online instructions to finish placing the order.  Write down order number on payment. Mail cashier's check or money order (no personal checks) to:

Aiptek will email the check receiving notification.  Orders will be canceled automatically if checks are not received by Aiptek within 30 days.


Mail Order:

Download Aiptek Order Form  Find prices and item numbers of items you want through the Aiptek website.  Fill out form accordingly and send cashier's check or money order (no personal checks) to:

Aiptek will email you the order and shipping information once the checks are cleared.

 




Refurbished Product Information:

Some products sold on the Aiptek website are refurbished. All refurbished products are fully tested and cleaned to meet original specifications before being sold. Refurbished models are packed with all the same software and parts as "new" models.

Extended Warranty Information:

Some models offer an extended warranty that you may purchase.  It gives you 11 more months of coverage (to equal one full year) on select refurbished items we have on our website.  The warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship.
 




Customer Guarantee:

Refurbished Products are covered by a 30 day manufacturer's warranty against defect. This warranty covers defects in material or workmanship. The warranty does not cover physical damage, and may be voided by performing unwarranted acts such as opening the unit or modifying the internal components.

New Products are covered by a 1 year manufacturer's warranty against defect. This warranty covers defects in material or workmanship. The warranty does not cover physical damage, and may be voided by performing unwarranted acts such as opening the unit or modifying the internal components.

Accessories are covered by 90 day manufacturer's warranty against defect. This warranty covers defects in material or workmanship. The warranty does not cover physical damage.
 




Return Policy:

You may return an item for refund or replacement within 30 days of the shipment date. If you need to return a product, you must first call our customer service line at (949) 585-9600 in order to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. No product returns will be accepted without an RMA number. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Due to our always changing low prices, if you return an item that has changed price, we will only refund the current price of the product.  All product returns must be 100% complete & intact in order to obtain a full refund. Zero credit will be given if the main article of purchase is missing upon receipt of the return. Customers will be charged a 30% restocking fee for any missing items other than the main article of purchase. There will also be a $10 charge for any FREE merchandise included with the order not returned.

You are responsible for your own shipping charges. Aiptek is not responsible for return shipments that are lost and/or damaged. It is the responsibility of consumer to file any claims with the carrier for damaged and/or lost shipments. Aiptek will cover the return shipping for replacements, exchanges, or items that have been sent in for warranty service. Aiptek strongly recommends that you insure your shipments using a service that allows you to track the location of your shipments.
