Ways to View your Aiptek Video Files:
Here are two options for viewing your Aiptek Videos on your Vista system.

 
     
 

OPTION #1

 
 

VLC player is a free media player download that provides a wide range of video file playback from .ASF to .MOV

OPTION #2

 
 

*Re-name the file extension: “.ASF” to “.ASX”

 
  1. Open a folder or open explorer  
  2. Click the “Organize” button (to the left of the Views button)  
  3. Click “Folder and Search Options”  
  4. Click the “View” tab  
  5. Uncheck “Hide extensions for known file types”  
  6. Click OK  
     
  You are now able to rename your file extensions:  
  Example: "CLIP0001.ASF" to “CLIP0001.ASX  
     
  Re-naming your Aiptek .ASF files to .ASX will allow:  
  *Windows Media player to playback your Aiptek videos*  
     
     
  How to make DVD’s for my DVD Player and/or CD’s to share with family and friends:
Here are options for creating disks on your Vista system.
 
     
  Burn CD’s / VCD’s:  Yes, you can use any of the built-in CD Burning software’s to burn / back up / make copies of all your photos and videos for friends and family.  
  Note: Verify with the product manufacturer that the burning or editing software supports the .ASF video file format.  
     
  Make DVD’s:  Yes, you can use the built-in software “Windows DVD Maker” to create DVD movies for your DVD Player.
